Diversity Policy

Contemporânea is committed to a culture that respects diversity and inclusion. The diversity policy in our journal promotes the consideration and publication of works by authors who represent different institutional affiliations, nationalities and career stages. We encourage the submission of works by authors who are underrepresented in academia, due to race, ethnicity, gender identity and disability, for example. Additionally, we encourage authors to research and cite sources historically excluded from academia and to engage with the work of scholars based in underrepresented geographic regions. The Magazine also seeks gender equality in its Editorial Team.
