The aim of this paper is to analyze data collected during a victimization survey carried out with the academic community of Universidade Federal Fluminense. This is an exploratory survey, with a non-probabilistic sample, on university security, in which we deal a lot with experiences with crime, violence and insecurity. The main results were that we observed university campis as relatively safer than other spaces in the city and as spaces where other modes of aggression emerge, such as conflicts, harassment and abuse
