Semi-arid Northeast's child and adolescent labour
An apprenticeship in socially legitimated and judicially devianted norms

For the purposes to contribute to an cultural patterns' understanding of social legitimisation of child and adolescent labour roots, in the semi-arid Northeast. Based upon sertanejos' migrants life stories, which had lived their childhood and youth, in the first part of the 20th century in agrarian areas, it's underlined habits grounded on labour idealization basis as essential for personality development, leading parents to engage their children on productive activities, rather then dedicate time for school education.
