Abstract

This text ethnographically describes the creation and recreation of Ayoreo chamacáre, an expression of shamanic thought involving the production and transformation in relations with human and non-human forms and in the composition of worlds and new possibles. The text also addresses Deleuze and Guattari’s concept of desire in L’Anti Oedipe (1972), to shed light on how the chamacaré function enables the composition of different worlds among its operators, influencing and transforming a world through various modes of relation and appropriation, resulting in increasingly complex formations.
