Abstract

This paper analyzes narratives of conflicts elicited by admission/exclusion of researchers to graduate programs’ faculties. This situation is taken as an institutional “drama” whose elements allow us to answer our research question: how do researchers react subjectively to scientific evaluation policies’ injunctions concerning graduate programs’ performances? Data analyzed consist of a set of six in-depth interviews conducted with Brazilian senior researchers.
