Abstract

The article presented here is divided into two parts: Firstly, it will make a temporal digression to reflect, from an objective and subjective perspective, on Oral History and affective maps as theoretical-methodological tools capable of multiple perceptions of sociological categories. In a second moment, with the narratives and affective maps of Brazilian immigrants interviewed in Lisbon, the objective is to demonstrate how the interviewees' memories are revealed and how they are transferred to paper, especially with regard to the experience of the COVID-19 pandemic, in the years 2020 and 2021, in another country.
